Our Services

Montessori Doula can come to you, letting you and your child learn in the comfort of your own home

Home-Based: The original Montessori school was called “Children’s House” in Italian, where a mix of ages flourished alongside one another in a space that was filled with child-sized furniture. The kitchen, a bedroom, the sunroom–anywhere can be a classroom.

Family Friendly: Young children can learn alongside siblings, both by direct and indirect instruction, by individual and group lessons, by the words that we say, our actions and by our example.

In-Home Visits

During home visits we discuss your goals, assess the space you’d like to use, see what materials you have on hand, and I observe how you interact with your child. Travel charge may apply if you are outside of Davidson County or Williamson County, TN:

First Visit: I meet you and your children, get a feel for what your goals are, and get a sense of your parenting style.

Second Visit: I suggest activities that you can do in the home, recommend a rhythm and routine for your day, offer a few design options for an in-home learning space, and I model methods of observation.

Third Visit: We review previous suggestions and assess what is working/what is not, I help you implement your chosen design for a learning space, and I model up to three Montessori presentations.

Let’s do this together!

Let me be a calm support as you navigate the conflicting advice from Podcasts, Instagram, Facebook, your mother-in-law, the neighbor down the street.

Let’s sort through your goals for your child and family.

Let’s observe and reverence the unique, unrepeatable person God has sent you and how to best meet his or her needs while helping your family thrive. Let’s find a routine that serves your child and serves your family’s needs.

Let’s imagine a learning space in your home, choosing Montessori materials that fit your budget and match your child’s developmental needs.

Let’s talk about what’s next in your child’s development so that you can be proactive and be prepared.

Let’s balance structure and freedom, encouraging your child’s growth in self-discipline, confidence, self-regulation, and willingness to make good choices.

Let’s establish predictable, stable routines to support your child’s growth and your family’s peace.

Let’s network with other parents and find tried and true Montessori resources.

Let my experience and training to help shape your family’s future as you guide your little ones with warmth, humor, wisdom, joy, and love.
